The Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems (CCALS) will hold its first logistics innovation workshop on Intermodal Mobility of Goods & Services in Richmond on April 30, 2019.

The goal for the workshop is to examine how logistics can spur innovation, and serve as a key driver of economic development in Virginia. Each panel session provides stakeholders an opportunity to interact with university teams doing problem solving research. There is additional time scheduled between panels for comment and collaboration.

“We see this as an opportunity to build on the results of the successful Virginia Logistics Summit held last fall,” said Mark Manasco, President and Executive Director of the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems.

Future workshops are planned and include topics such as:

  • Healthcare Materiel & Services
  • Commonwealth & Defense Industry Coordination
  • Energy Mobility & Sustainability

Workshop sponsors include CCALS, the Virginia Chamber, the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and Williams Mullen.

If you have any questions about the upcoming workshop series, please contact Mark Manasco, President and Executive Director of CCALS, at mark.manasco@ccals.com or (804) 814-7567.
