Cody Pennetti, a Ph.D. student at the Center for Risk Management of Engineering Systems, is a finalist in the Student Merit Competition organized by the Society for Risk Analysis’ Engineering and Infrastructure Specialty Group. The competition promotes excellence in risk analysis research for engineering and infrastructure management.
Pennetti developed his Multiple Objective Temporal Scenario Analysis (MOTA) as a planning tool to help mitigate the effects of technology, climate, and other disruptors on long-term infrastructure planning. He will present on his research at the Society’s annual meeting in December. Pennetti works with Engineering Systems and Environment professor James H. Lambert, who also serves on CCALS’ Technical Advisory Committee.
