Vincent J. Barnett has been appointed the Vice Chair of the Board for Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems (CCALS).
Barnett is Vice President of Business Investment for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). He has been a CCALS board member since 2018.
Barnett directs the development and implementation of VEDP’s comprehensive lead generation and business retention and expansion strategies to targeted industry executives and site selection consultants, resulting in enhanced economic development opportunities and increased jobs and capital investment for Virginia. He directs VEDP’s Governor-led foreign and domestic economic development marketing mission program. He also serves on the board of directors for the Virginia Biosciences Health Research Corporation — Virginia Catalyst and The Japan-Virginia Society.
Barnett served more than seven years in the United States Air Force and the Virginia Air National Guard, with assignments at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.
