CESUN’s International Symposium will be held Oct. 10-12 in Charlottesville

The Council of Engineering Systems Universities (CESUN) will hold its eighth international symposium this October in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hosting the conference are the University of VirginiaVirginia State University, and the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems (CCALS). The symposium will be held in person, with a virtual option.

This year’s theme is Innovations in Complex Sociotechnical Systems and International Collaborations, and tracks will include Engineering Systems and Education, Health Care Systems Engineering, Trust and Security of Advanced Logistics, and more.

The Keynote Speaker for the symposium is Dr. Masaru Nakano, Professor Emeritus at Keio University. Dr. Nakano’s research specialties include manufacturing systems design, business process design, and sustainable society design.
