UVA Engineering Student Wins National GEM Fellowship

Systems Engineering Ph.D. student Collyn Clark has won a competitive GEM Fellowship to support her University of Virginia (UVA) graduate studies in the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment. The competitive award from the National GEM Consortium provides tuition and fees, partial coverage of graduate research assistant stipends and a 2022 summer internship.

Clark will have an internship at The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, Va. She is currently a Graduate Research Assistant on several CCALS projects with Professor James H. Lambert, her engineering systems and environment faculty advisor, and Thomas L. Polmateer, UVA research program director of CCALS.
