cardinal center mascotA group of CCALS student Fellows has worked with a professional graphic designer and the Virginia Economic Development’s international trade arm to develop branding and marketing for the recently launched Cardinal Center for Autonomy and Energy.

The branding conveys the strength and forward-looking focus of the Center, and includes a fun mascot that nods to its innovative energy.

Look for the branding at CCALS and other events highlighting unmanned automated systems and related technologies.

The Cardinal Center for Autonomy and Energy is a preeminent national resource for the development, testing, and deployment of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). CCALS leads the center, with funding from the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission’s Energy Ingenuity Fund (TRRC), the Virginia Department of Energy, the Virginia Department of Aviation, Richard Bland College Foundation, the UAS Center at SBD, and George Mason University’s Rapid Prototyping Research Center.
